Here are a few pictures and a list of things we've learned so far:
- What they call "solid" foods, aren't really solid.
- Making your own baby food is time consuming....and this company called Gerber seems to have plenty of experience in this arena.
- More food ends up on our face, clothes, and hands that what gets swallowed.
- Katie is more interested in mommy and daddy's food than her own.
- The cleanup process is much easier when Katie is wearing only a diaper....and bathtime/bedtime follows the meal.
- Meal time is more successful if Katie gets to hold her own spoon.
- Washable bibs are a MUST!
- Katie likes sweet potatoes, carrots, butternut squash, and bananas. Katie is not a big fan of rice cereal, green peas, or peaches.
- Sweet poatoes look the same going out as the do going in. Eww!
